Pulse On Real Estate: What Does $270,000 buy in Various Towns In San Bernardino County

Southland home prices continued to trend upward in the month of June, with the entire region seeing a 5% increase from a year earlier. In San Bernardino County, the median home price for a single-family home topped out at $270,000, a 4.8% jump from the previous year.

Here’s a look at what that amount buys throughout the area.

Helendale

Built in 1977, this ranch-style house on a cul-de-sac pairs a putting green with fairway views of the Silver Lake Country Club.

Listed for: $269,500 for three bedrooms, two bathrooms in 2,361 square feet (8,750-square-foot lot)

Features: Living room with rock fireplace; vaulted ceilings; oversized garage

About the area: In the 92342 ZIP Code, based on 13 sales, the median sales price for single-family homes in June was $218,000, up 9% from June 2015, according to CoreLogic.

Big Bear
